There's a Big Difference Between Knowing Math and Knowing How to Teach It

Hi, I'm Sarah Morrison. I graduated from Point Loma Nazarene University in 2005 with a math degree and have been teaching and tutoring math ever since.

I've worked with every kind of student over the years. The ones who love math, the ones who dread it, and the ones who just need it explained a different way. I know exactly where students get lost, because I've seen it thousands of times.

In our sessions, we don't just fix tonight's homework. We find the gap, the concept that was never quite understood, and build from there. Real understanding. Real confidence. Results that last.

I'm not just someone who's good at math. I'm a full-time credentialed teacher and current math department head who knows how students think, where they get stuck, and exactly how to get them unstuck.
I'm also a mom of three kids in middle and high school. I understand firsthand the desire every parent has to see their child succeed academically - not just get through a class, but truly thrive. That perspective shapes how I show up for every student I work with.
